The Huskies Den features 17
Full Size Brunswick Gold Crown III pocket billiard tables, one
snooker and one carom billiard table.
The spacious layout provides a great atmosphere for enjoyable
play. No crowded smoky room here! We’ve even tricked
out a few of our tables with black-lights and glow effects
to provide a truly unique glow in the dark pool experience… call
it rave pool or a flashback to the 70’s, it’s
a whole new way to play pool.
Tournaments
Tournaments are held periodically throughout the semester.
Each year men & women representatives from NIU are sent
to a Regional Tournament with a chance to advance to a National
Tournament. The 2008 Regionals held at SIU Carbondale in February were a great success for NIU. We were proud to have the Regional Champion Milica Kozomara attend the National Championships held in Arizona this July.
This was the third consecutive year that Milica represented NIU and she came in Third place in this tournament last year that brought together the countries best players! This year we are rooting her on to number one... National Champion!
Paul Gerni, World Trick Shot Champion, performed for
an appreciative crowd on September 4, 2003. We welcomed Paul
back to campus when
he came to perform for Dad’s Weekend in February of
2006.

Purchase a Discount Card for just $15. This card entitles you to $4.00/hr Billiards
Sunday - Wednesday ALL DAY and Thursday and Friday before 7:00 pm! This card
is valid for one semester. What an unbelievable value saving you a dollar an
hour!! Discount card also entitles you to special bowling prices of $1.75/game. |
